ABOUT DIOS GIOVANNI
Founded in Minneapolis in 2024, DIOS GIOVANNI began with the belief that your beginning doesn’t determine your becoming. The House approaches modern menswear with distinction and charisma, creating for those who appreciate classic style while seeking something distinctly their own.
With roots in the American South and influences that extend far beyond it, DIOS GIOVANNI brings different traditions of dress together through a distinctly modern lens.
The name itself reflects that perspective. DIOS, Spanish for “God,” reflects the faith at the foundation of the House. Spanish was also the first foreign language studied by the founder, learned from a desire to connect with people from a culture different from his own. That experience inspired a lasting appreciation for meeting people where they are and remaining open to a world beyond the one you know.
GIOVANNI comes from a childhood nickname given by the founder’s grandfather, inspired by an early fascination with Italian art and fashion. What began playfully remained long after childhood and eventually became a way to honor his memory and the interests he recognized from an early age.
